Boundaries

life isn’t really black and white, but some things are worth making a stink about.

Boundaries are about preserving what matters—our values, our peace, our moral compass. The Overton window—the spectrum of ideas society finds acceptable—shifts when we stay silent about things we know in our gut are wrong. If we don’t speak up, push back, and occasionally “make a stink,” the line moves further away from what’s right.

Be like a skunk. Be calm, be confident—but let people know when they’ve crossed a line. Protect your space. Defend moral values. And don’t be afraid to be the one who reminds the world that some things still matter.

Integrity matters.

Human dignity matters.

Stewardship of our natural world matters.

Consent, autonomy, and collaboration matter.

Nonviolence matters.

Compassion and empathy matter.

Draw your line. Set your boundaries. Make a stink.
